British Standard 5837 Arboricultural Implications Assessment

Based on a British Standard 5837 Arboricultural Survey this report includes a detailed discussion of development proposals in the context of existing and potential tree cover and is supported by a Tree Constraints Plan, showing Root Protection Areas; a Tree Protection Plan with specifications for additional precautions, such as 'no-dig' access construction, and an Arboricultural Method Statement detailing where and how tree protection measures will be implemented.

British Standard 5837 advocates a pragmatic approach to planning for tree cover on development sites and canopy wholeheartedly embrace this approach in our Arboricultural Implications Assessments.

A canopy AIA is presented as a written report including photographs, phasing timetables, detail specification drawings (such as construction tree protection fencing) and method statements, alongside full colour AutoCAD drawings illustrating arboricultural constraints and protection measures.
