Protected Species Ecology Survey

Detailed surveys carried out to industry-standard methodologies by our licensed ecologists - we have experts for each species - to ascertain the presence or absence of protected species such as badger, bat, slow-worm, lizard, great crested newt and dormice. If species are found, the size and significance of the population is assessed, to inform production of an Ecological Mitigation Strategy and / or Habitat Management Plan to satisfy the requirements of PPS9 (Planning Policy Statement 9, Biodiversity and Geological Conservation).
